Ayurvedic Nutrition (Level 1)
This course provides a clear understanding of Ayurveda, its principles, and Ayurvedic Nutrition.
Ayurveda is an ancient holistic practice that embraces the body, mind, and spirit through gratification of our diet, lifestyle, and rejuvenation. Ayurveda allows us to improve not only our health in general but our wellbeing, behavior, and state of mind. Combining traditional practices with the laws of nature, Ayurveda champions the fact that we are all individuals and relates this individual life with the life of the universe.
This course is designed for someone who is new to Ayurveda or for complementary therapy practitioners and coaching experts who want to broaden their knowledge of Ayurveda.
Course Structure:
•The course is spread across 12 weeks
•Live and interactive online lessons, recordings shared with students for further reference
•Additional support available via email or phone for 4 weeks after course completion
•Virtual Ayurvedic cooking sessions
Course Content:
•Introduction and history of Ayurveda
•Ayurvedic Approach to the Universe (5 Elements and 20 Gunas)
•Ayurvedic Physiology (3 Doshas, Tissues, etc)
•Prakruti (The Unique you, body type)
•Ayurvedic food and nutrition (in-depth)
•Ayurvedic lifestyle (daily and seasonal routine)
Note: Classes that involve daily routine, recipes, and home remedies will be taught in a workshop pattern. Social media support group with teachers helping with further learning and understanding
